At Level 2, field engineers provide advanced knowledge of the equipment, can diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and are capable of manual configuration and installation with testing and analysis of the logical configuration.
Level 3 field engineers are able to support both Level 1 and Level 2 field engineers, provide root cause analysis, design solutions and create documents, troubleshoot and optimize solutions at the expert level, and provide technology refresh planning and support.

Converged and Hyperconverged platforms
Converged and Hyperconverged platforms are both significant upgrades to traditional legacy infrastructures as they consolidate resources in the data center to simplify network architectures. Converged platforms are more of a hardware-defined solution in which the servers are virtualized and work with a SAN (Storage Area Network). In contrast, Hyperconverged platforms are more of a software-defined solution in which both the compute and storage resources are consolidated into shared, single unit rack spaces.
